Why Use a Digital Calendar?

A Digital calendar is of great importance in our daily life as well as in our business. So, in this podcast, we will see some tips through which you can master your digital calendar with Google calendar.

By rating and coding your digital calendar, you will get a very powerful image overview of your daily routine. It just helps me figure out what I’m busy with by looking at my calendar for a week or month, and I know how much time I have left on other stuff. Of course, you want to consider different ways to rate your events to meet your needs. But in many categories, it is better not to over-complicate things.

A digital calendar is also useful for scheduling recurring events. Frequent recurring events are on my calendar as they help me with recurring events (such as scheduling a gym session every Sunday or 9 am to 6 pm every weekday) and Birthday and anniversary reminders. To create a recurring event, you can create a calendar event first, then click More Options to unhide the expanded selection.

Add a holiday calendar to stay on top of upcoming holidays. Holiday calendars are a great way to stay in touch with upcoming holiday dates if you want to take a vacation or plan a long weekend trip. To add holidays to your calendar, you can change the pre-made vacation calendar that some calendar apps already have or add a public calendar for upcoming holidays. Under Other Calendars in Google Calendar, click the + sign (add other calendars) and press Browse Interesting Calendars.

Add a location for Google Map Navigation / AI-supported directions. The great thing about Google Calendar is its seamless Google Maps integration that allows you to quickly get to the direction of your next event with the click of a button.
