Valuable Resources She Uses in Educating Writers

Jennie shared two resources that she uses in educating writers to write a book. Both have 14-step processes and philosophy that she teaches and adheres to, which is that you have to think before you write.

  • Grab this Blueprint for a Book worksheet to help set you up for writing your own book.
  • Blueprint for a Nonfiction Book: Plan and Pitch Your Big Idea – a blueprint for writing a non-fiction book. It teaches about developing a book proposal, which is the document used to sell most nonfiction books rather than by the manuscript.
  • https://www.bookcoaches.com/ – provides a series of videos that talk about what it’s like to be a book coach, how you become one, what the training is like, what the community is like, who’s suited to it
  • Inside Outline – an outlining tool used for character building that takes you on what’s happening to the character on the outside, the external events or plots that they’re experiencing and what’s happening to them on the inside.
