20: Imposter Syndrome Deep Dive — Why We Have It. What We Can Do About It.

Close Facebook, turn off Instagram, stop reading the biographies of “successful” people, and learn to respect your experience.

Imposter syndrome is feeling out of place in the scenes you’ve dreamed up for yourself. It’s reaching that big goal and looking around thinking, “I don’t belong here, someone is going to call me out.”

Imposter Syndrome and Overcoming It

In this episode, we define imposter syndrome by answering the questions, “What is imposter syndrome?” and talk about what imposter syndrome is and how to overcome imposter syndrome.

Imposter syndrome plagues even the most accomplished, successful people because it has nothing to do with our qualifications or experience. Imposter syndrome attacks your confidence and changes your inner dialog, and it can impact your productivity big time.

Big Shout Out to our Savvy Scribe GrowthLab graduate, Amy Burianek, whose question inspired this episode!

If we fail to work through this syndrome, then we feel like strangers to life, liars, and scam artists. But if we learn how to process it properly, we can work to tackle our insecurities and self-esteem and embrace our successes in a way that makes life more fun. Is connected and completed.

Imposter syndrome refers to feelings of betrayal that are not linked to a true understanding of our own abilities. When we fail to internalize our abilities and accomplishments, we mistakenly believe that we have not physically achieved our success. Imposter Syndrome is a problem for so many people.

We can overcome this by giving away some of your extra self will help you feel more like a fake. When you feel like a fraud, it is in relation to something amazing that has never really existed. Usually, I feel like a fraud when I think I’m more important than I am. Just focus on providing value. The most important thing is just to think that you have an important role in your successes. Keep a file of people saying nice things about you.
