Passion Planner: My Newest Organization Tool

Passion Planner I am experimenting in 2018 with a new planner. I researched many planners and knew I needed something that I would gain clarity in my everyday work with, as well as my personal life. I have a lot of goals this year that I want to accomplish, and I hope this passion planner will help. I have also struggled with planners and freelance writing. I used a small one from Target last year. I made it work, but obviously, and am ready to try something new. Today, I thought I would give you an exclusive tour of my passion planner.

What is a Passion Planner?

According to their websitePassion Planner is the one place for all your thoughts. It’s more than just a planner—it’s a tool that helps you break down your short and long-term goals and incorporate them into your daily life. It has been designed to encourage you to plan for the future, reflect on the past, but most importantly, act on the present.

Think of it as a 24/7 life coach that fits in your backpack—always ready to challenge you to focus on what is most important, accept your thoughts and ideas without judgment, and prompt you to reflect on your everyday life. We hope that it becomes a place where you can declutter your mind, allowing you to focus on the present moment. I need that.

Declutter is a word that consumes me. I can’t stand clutter and would live as a minimalist if I didn’t have a husband and kids <I know, I still could>. Here is the passion planner that I took. First, though, I want you to know the sizes of the planner. There’s the classic size, which is what I chose, and the compact size. The classic is pretty big, the size of a piece of 81/2×11 of paper.

I also know I need to travel with this everywhere I go. I need a bigger purse. Anyway, let’s dive in. First, the front of it. It comes in an awesome keepsake box to store pictures and memories in. I wish I had time to really make this cute, I just don’t, but you could. You can pick from a variety of colors, I like blue.

In the back, they give you a blank space to mind map (and they tell you how to do that) your goals. There’s mine. Then, as you can see they give you more blank space. Recently, I learned how to create my ideal workweek. Then, you have the month. They give you areas to put people to see, things to do, and also a not-to-do list. Not-to-dos are distractions and things that won’t lead you to your goals. At the bottom, as you can see you get areas to make priorities. I love this. I do this weekly anyway. I can’t wait to start to use this, but I am also glad I got it early to help prepare myself for goal setting and clarifying myself.
